Everyone really enjoyed it. Who knew you could make an action hero from the usually docile Sherlock Holmes? It actually comes off well. Watson is not portrayed as the stout, monocle-wearing, handle-bar mustached character perceived in the Doyle classics. Sound is gripping, special effects vis-a-vis nineteenth century London are well done. I would recommend this to anyone seeking an evening out. I'd bring the kids if you like, but, I have to say it helps to be at least familiar with Holmes and the "scientific deduction" skills from the original stories. It's all nicely done. AND, they even squeeze in a little Professor Moriarty at the end. Oh, and clearly the option is there for a sequel, all laid out for you at the end. I'd be there!
