My husband and I LOVED this movie. This is the kind of movie the audience claps at the end, the kind of movie you linger in your seat during the credits to see if there's an additional scene. We can't wait to see it again. You can use every positive adjective you know to describe Health Ledger's performance as the joker and you wouldn't be overselling it. I actually believed after 2 hours he WAS the joker until I remembered this is a character from a comic book. I wouldn't bring children under 13 because the movie is very dark and could be scary for younger kids. Don't expect to see the previous franchise Batman films. This is a masterpiece.
