mesmerizing and enthralling

This was the first time I saw a production of Tosca. I sat there absolutely enthralled by the story, the emotion, and the stunning music and voices. The acting was superb. I really believed those characters were inhabiting their roles. Can't wait until the next production.

I was never interested in opera until I started watching the Met productions live in HD. My first experience was Madame Butterfly last season and I have not missed a single Met opera since. I have signed up for all future Met productions for this season. Aida was spectacular in its grandeur and spectacle. The singers gave all their emotion to their parts. The four hour production had me mesmerized from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Insight into opera singers path to fame

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie as I have all the other Met productions in HD. What a privilege to feel like I am a part of the audience in New York and have the best seat. I would never have the exposure to opera if it were not for these productions. I plan to see everyone of them as they are released.
I still feel heartbroken that Ryan passed away so soon after achieving his dream.
I also like to commentary by the pros before and after the movie. I have learned so much.
