Avatar is exquisite to see, filled with highly original, imaginative images. There were a number of excellent films this year -- several of Academy Award quality -- but Avatar was an achievement on such a bold, grand scale, and done with such skill, it must be the Academy's choice for Best Picture. Thank you for the wonderful journey!
