Fun Movie!

I really enjoyed this movie. It was definitely a little scary at times for my 4 year old but she was still quite enthralled. My 10 year old very much enjoyed it, thinking of himself like the main character.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I really like this movie. I love Jim Carrey's take on Horton, Steve Carell, Carol Burrnett and all the other actors who played in this movie. The message is wonderful the humor is appropriate for both adults and children. Just a fun movie!

Not so much for little ones

From the previews, I was under the impression this movie was going to be light hearted and funny. Quite the contrary. It was dark and scary at times. 5 minutes into the movie my 3 year old said "I don't really like this kind of movie" and spent most of the time on my lap. It was cute, endearing and had a good message for the most part, but I just don't think it was great for the younger group.

There was definitely some adult humor in this movie but not so much that the kids couldn't relate. We enjoyed it.

Great casting! Jack Black was hilarious as Panda. Loved the story, the message and the humor. There were a few scenes that scared my 3 year old daughter, but many, many scenes that made her laugh!

The kids seemed to enjoy it to a certain extent, but it was painfully clear the adults were not. Not very cute, funny or enduring. Way too long in between humorous lines. Not even enough funny scenes to fill a whole movie trailer, therefore, my son lost interest in seeing it after seeing the previews a few times.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
