Missed the mark

I wanted to enjoy this movie. I wanted to engage with the characters and go on the great ride that I knew this movie could be. It didn't happen. Not enough character development, too much mumbling. I couldn't even understand some of the dialog. The writers had some great material to work with, but they just couldn't pull it off. Sorry...
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Susan and I loved the multiple stories, the characters, the action, and for that matter there was nothing that we didn't like. This movie helps you cherish those in your life and love them even more. You want to be a better person after seeing this movie. PLEASE see this movie you won't be disappointed

Lots of fun, Great action, I cared about and liked the characters. Being X Military I appreciated the trust and heart of the movie. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

What A RIDE!!!!

I got into this movie and stayed there... I got taken for a heart pounding ride through out the movie... graphic violence.... be warned... but well worth the popcorn, drink, and candy...

What's the Point???

If you want to see folks who believe in God portrayed as cult like, hipocrites, bigoted, and all around nut cases, then this may be your movie.... If you are a normal family who believes in God, prays, goes to Chruch and just lives your lives, then it will be hard to relate to what you are seeing. In the end my wife and I looked at each other and asked, what's the point of this movie.. Still don't know

Fantastic Surprise

My wife and i saw this movie this afternooon and loved it... it speaks to your heart and also your soul.. Robert Duval and the young guy from Fast & Furious and the supporting cast (which you will recognize from TV) shows all did a super job. This movie holds your attention and you are fully invested in the characters and the outcome.. We loved it and recommend it. Not the usual Hollywood, thats for sure.

Action Packed and Fun

This movie had everything I was looking for. It was full of action, had a lot of heart, and no negative message.... Thanks Hollywood for making a movie where for once the Military wasn't the bad guy and noone was screaming "Jesus" everytime they were angry, surprised, or frustrated. THANK YOU

Typical Hollywood

If you like the typical stuff from Hollywood where young kids are screaming "Jesus" when ever they are excited, angry, or surprised then this is your movie. If you like a movie where the "Military" is again the bad guy (SHOCKER)... then this is a movie for you...Personally I am getting sick of seeing the Military constantly being the bad guy in the movies.... Wake up Hollywood!!!

Won't see it...

I appreciate the review concerning the slam on Christianity in the movie, so i won't be seeing the movie and can save my money.. I am completely turned off at the constant use of the name of Jesus to express frustration, surprise, anguish, etc. . I don't care if the moviie takes place in the Middle Ages or far in the future.... they are always screeming "Jesus", "Jesus Christ" or "For Christs sake" .... you would think that only a few people write for the movies.. Sad
