It is funny, fast paced, and definitely family friendly. At only about an hour and a half it was the perfect length for a afternoon matinee. I just may purchase this one for my own collection when it is available.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Big let down

Another fine example of "all the scares are in the trailers". It's only redeeming value is that it was made on such a low budget. I wish someone would give me 15,000 to make a film. Great premise but it never fully evoked the emotions of the characters.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I took my 12 year old son to see it upon his request. After reading the synopsis I was afraid he would find it too young for his tastes. Wow I wrong! He loved it!! The 3D is terrific and the story is a good old fashioned over the top could never be real piece of well written fiction. It didn't throw too many of life's little lessons straight into your face. It kept the story fun and full of adventure. I was touched by the themes directed at adults and was tickled by the children's humor. I will be getting this on on DVD...for ME!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
