I saw the movie first and then read the book. While I can understand that book lovers had some problems with the theatrical script, I think the movie enhances the relationship between the two lovers while still maintaining the books integrity. I liked that bella seemed to be on more equal emotional footing in the movie than in the book. The movie is good, well acted, and presents a timeless love story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
