Dumb, but great special effects.

You never "bond" with any of the characters. The plot gets weaker and weaker. The special effects are outstanding, maybe the best ever. The violin music toward the end, trying to make you care about the characters, was ridiculous. There is never a reason to care about any of the characters, and I've already forgotten their names.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
