Powerful, moving piece. Not really a Sean Penn fan, but he WAS HARVEY MILK. WOW. Amazing. A movie that does not depend on explosions, LOUD soundtracks or violence, only GREAT ACTING and SENSITIVE STORY. Why is it rated R? Two men kissing on the screen is MUCH LESS OFFENSIVE than the other gratuitous violence we are exposed to. This movie should easily be put on a list for "SENSITIVITY TRAINING" for all teachers, all police, and even all parents and students.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
