Outstanding film. It a statement of what is happing in USA today. The filmmakers did not miss a beat, it is very clever and insightful. A must see if you want to know what is really happining throughout this country. The American Dream is Up in the Air.
Great acting by Del Toro, but part 2 could have been edited to 50 minutes. It would have been helpful to the story to show Cuba before and after Fidel and the “26 of Julio” took over the reins of government. Che was a complicated yet fascinating persona, he made countless mistakes the film should have honed on such as his failure as Minister of Agriculture, or his misguided revolutionary foray in the Congo. Today his ideas would have been anathema to the progressives; I seriously doubt that today teens, if he had lived out his life, would wear tee shirts with his image. I did have his poster in my college dorm. But back in the 1950 and 1960 he was a credible option to dictatorial government oppression in Latin America. Viva Che !!!
