Kate Winslet was astounding. It would be difficult for anyone but the best of actresses to cause you to feel sympathetic toward a character who acted devoid of conscience as a participant in one of the greatest atrocities of human history.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A Must See for Friend and Foe

Milk's story is one that should be known by every freedom loving person in America. This man loved his country and surely loved his countrymen and women. Sean Penn is brilliant in his portrayal of this courageous hero. This movie would not have such an impact if it was not so brilliantly written, directed, and acted. The movie received a standing ovation by the audience of the theater in which I viewed it. BRAVO!
