We first saw Avatar in its regular movie format and thought it was beautiful and very well done. My 83 year old father saw it in its regular format and then 3D format (not IMAX) and wanted to see it in IMAX 3D. We invited him to go with us. All of us agreed that it was just AWESOME and that the IMAX 3D enhanced the movie experience! ! If you haven't seen it, bypass the regular format and just go to IMAX 3D. You will not be sorry!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
