Downey was Born to be Stark

I saw this film Thursday night. As comic book movies go, its among the top two or three.
As origin stories go, it might be the best one I've seen.
Robert Downey Jr transforms into Tony Stark. He was born to play this role. He creates an iconic anti-hero as memorable as Johnny Depp's first go round as Jack Sparrow.
The supporting cast was stellar as well. I expected that from Terrence Howard and Jeff Bridges, but I was surprised at how well Gwyneth Paltrow fit the character of Pepper Potts. I like Gwyneth as an actress, but didnt quite think the part and her meshed. I was wrong.
The special effects were pretty much seamless and the script is full of snappy banter, just like Stark in the comics.
Oh and if you're a comic fan at all, you are hereby required to stay until AFTER the credits are over. There is a short scene that plays that will make the comic geeks explode in delight.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
