I'm not sure what the reviewer who said "not for small children" is referring to. I took my 4 year old daughter and she loved it, (if you try to take a child younger than 4 to a movie aren't you really just kidding yourself?)
This movie was awesome, it highlights the importance of hard work as well as the need for us to depend on others.
As for the comment about the single parents in Disney movies: Guess what, HALF of the kids in the U.S. don't have married parents. Do we need to alienate them at the movies too. 2 of the 3 sets of parents in the movie were together.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
