Beyond Being Improved

Just watched a 12:05am showing of IM2. Even on 14 hrs of sleep for the week, I'm nothing less than supercharged right now. Marvel & co. got this sooo right...the pace was consistent and quick without being overwhelming. The action scenes were amazing...clean and not jarring. The writing was humorous, but never just for the sake of trying to be funny. The plot was not predictable, but wasn't so far-fetched that it left you wondering where they were coming from or going. The acting was right on, as was every shot, everything they wore, every prop, even the lighting was good. I've never written a review before, but this movie was so pleasing to an old Marvel fan that I just had to give one up for them. One last note for Ms. Scarlet Johansson - thank you, thank you, thank you - you rate your own Marvel flick which I'd watch over and over and over again. Speaking of Marvel flicks, there's definitely an after-credit bonus that I won't spoil - but if you don't know who it's about, check it out!
