Entertaining but may have overstated the dehydration aspect and dwelled a little much on the emotions. As a medical person, I wonder about the accuracy of some of the depictions. Still, an entertaining movie that can lead to lively discussion.
This is an entertaining movie that makes you feel good about the world because they still are good people with strong values. You gotta love Sandra Bullock's sass.
A movie for the divorced set, of which I belong. Some clever writing, good story basis and Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin were excellent. A little too corny in places (the three kids in the bed together with Mom coming to save the day) and Alec's young wife seemed a little too hard around the edges. The scenes with Meryl and her girlfriends were on the money and very entertaining. I couldn't tell if Steve Martin was flat because his role called for him to be flat or if he was just kind of a flat actor.
An entertaining but not real memorable thriller. Denzel was his usual, Travolta also excellent. Gandolfini did a nice job, too. Within two weeks, all I'll remember about this movie is how much Travolta seemed to enjoy saying a certain 12-letter word that begins with m, includes fu and ends with r. He said it with such conviction, too. The movie's end was a little predictable but at least he didn't get a gallon of milk.
