I enjoyed finally seeing Bella as a vampire. When I read the books many years ago I had an image in my head and the final installment of this series met my expectations.
The beginning felt rushed but I understand they had to get to many different scenes in a short period. They didn't leave any of the key scenes out from the book.
I loved seeing Jacob phase in front of Charlie, although that was also very short.
I have to say the ending had me very worried, I had to repeatedly tell myself that Stephenie Meyer would not allow the story to be changed in an extreme way. I had what felt like several mini heart attacks there for a few moments. I'm sure I'm not the only fan who after spending years reading the books and waiting for all the movies to be available, really felt invested in the series and needed it to end well.
The books focused more on Bella being the main reason Aro decides to leave without an attack, but int he movie it's Alice that brings this home. I can see how that works for the screen, but I still enjoy the book version better.
The animation for baby Renesmee was sort of weird, but it still worked.
Overall, the humor throughout the movie was good, the cast was all comfortable with each other and did some of their best work together and I really enjoyed it.

I went with four friends and I listened to the discussions after the movie in the theater. It seems none of the women cared about the story line in the least, and most were unhappy there weren't more actual sex scenes. I heard lots of complaints that there wasn't enough actual stripping, but I feel they did put as much as they could in the movie since there are time constraints. A lot of women were displeased with the ending as well.
Personally I thought all the males did great, and were good eye candy. As far as the story line, I admit it wasn't really important to me but the humor and banter between the guys and with the females was funny. I will probably buy the DVD just to watch my favorite parts.

I was very impressed. Happy they brought some of the supporting roles into the forefront. I will be seeing it again.
