Inventive but lacking

Great set-up but quickly moves to shoot 'em up instead of the high corportate battles of power and manipulation. Big contradiction with alien's technology and their physicality, in that you don't believe they could actually invent any of their devices. (Smart Gorillas don't create software programs.) However, the story gets credit for their reach, and the overall theme of manipulation, but falls short on fleshing out what could have been a great one.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
