Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

I am a huge Harry Potter fan, and although I thought the movie was filled with fantastic acting, and was humorous and entertaining, as a fan of the book series, I must say I was disappointed in the anti climactic scenes at the end. I can not understand why they would change the ending when Draco confronts Dumbledore? That changes everything including the rash actions that Harry sometmes makes.
Harry would not have hidden without being stunned if he thought his friend was about to be injured, let alone killed. I also think the scene with Snape and the Death Eaters was so downplayed, it left me wondering why?
