We chose this movie as a Father's Day outing with several age groups. This movie definitely had something for both the dad's and the mom's to look forward to. The sound in the theater was a little too loud which scared off the youngest of the group. The movie itself was good but the story line seemed rushed. Many stories seemed to be barely developed before the conclusion. Ryan Reynolds of course was eye candy for the females but also did a great job with the character Hal. Blake Lively is of course pretty to look at but at times, as with all her movies, I felt she was forced with her character. I think the real standout actor was Peter Sarsgaard as Hector. Overall I think this was a good movie and I would go see a sequel.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was the best movie yet. It followed the book well and filled in the blanks left by previous movies. The acting and directing were done well. I will definitely see it again!
Let me preference this with the fact that I am a Twilight Saga fan. I have read all of the books along with my daughters. I loved the movie New Moon. It was much better than the Twilight movie. New Moon followed the book better. The graphics and special effects really enhanced what I had already imagined when I read the book. It is a must see on the big screen.
