Thank god they got a new director...

Go in with low expectations and you will be amazed! This movie is steps above the first movie, likely because of the new director and a much better soundtrack. The director did the best with what was there as far as the main actors are concerned. Some of the dialogue was a little hokey, but it goes with the books. This movie is VERY true to the book, actually. My husband and I both enjoyed it greatly.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Best HP Movie Yet

This was definitely the best Harry Potter movie. Some of them have seemed rushed, and had a bit of forced acting from the kids, but neither were an issue in this movie. It was well-paced and you can tell that HP, Ron, & Hermione are getting better at displaying emotions without overacting or looking false. My husband's only complaint was that there were a couple scenes that were added and unnecessary, but I felt they didn't detract from the movie in any way. Well done.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
