The movie was good. I've never read the books, but if I had I think it would have been a lot better. There were people crying at certain scenes that I think were anticipated from the book. I fully enjoyed it and will see the final one when released.

Good, but not quite what I expected...

I thought the movie was very good. I have not read the book. It was different than I expected because I thought the movie would have focused on Marley and his personality a little more, but it actually focused more on their relationship and family life. I did find it touching enough to bring tears to my eyes a couple of times.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
