My initial reaction was that this movie was phenomenal and i actually went to see it a second time. the things that were left out of the movie did disappoint to an extent (Bill; Tonks/Lupin problems/Gaunt house + the hufflepuff cup memories/Elieen Prince)but not everything can be added. Hence that last book = 2 movies, everything that is plot relevant (Tonks/Lupin fighting/Elieen Prince DONT fit in here!) will be re-added into the films. The film was meant to show about horcruxes, how he made 7, and how Draco is forced into service and cant do it,and it did just that the battle scene was not necessary seeing as the 7th book is mainly fighting.. I am an avid book fan first and foremost, but i do not believe that this movie was bad at all.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
