The plot holds you and the actors thrill you. Jamie Foxx is superb and Gerard Butler is unrelenting as the evil good guy. The ending is correct with lessons learned. Definitely entertaining and captivating. A must see for Foxx and Butler fans. You also get to see most of Butler, a real treat!

Having read Verne's book, I liked that they did not try to copy the adventure. It was fun to watch and the 3D was great.
