Very good but a little Scary

This story is my absolute favorite of all time. I have seen the Christmas Carol in every form from a 1932 version to the flintstone's. I Love it. I thought this movie version was very very good. It was entertaining and Jim Carrey was amazing in it. I have two small complaints which is why I did not give the film 5 stars. One, I did not like when Scrooge shrunk down in size, I understood why it was done but did not like it. More importantly, this movie was really scary, particularly with the 3-D feature. I took my seven year old and my ten year old and they closed their eyes and hid their faces alot during this movie. I think it was a little over the top with the scary. I did enjoy the film immensely.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
