Being an avid fan of the books, I was annoyed with the movie as a whole. Removing huge (and wildly important) parts of the book and adding meaningless scenes to the movie was ridiculous. The huge fight scene at the end is non-existent and the movie is very anticlimactic. It's hard to be entertained by the movie when in the back of your mind, you're saying "this is nothing like the book." Characters aren't well developed and are easily dropped from the story line. However, the acting is much improved from previous films, and the cinematography is amazing. Tom Felton really steals the show by carrying Draco's character to the next level. Overall, prepare yourself for a disappointing adaptation of the Half Blood Prince.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
