Decent movie based upon a condescending book...

I am a fan of the vampire stories of our past. However, Stephenie Meyer changing all of our basic knowledge of the mythology of vampires leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. I am disappointed. For one, VAMPIRES DO NOT HAVE "DIAMOND" LIKE SKIN. Two, VAMPIRES DO NOT HAVE REFLECTIONS IN MIRRORS. Three, VAMPIRES CANNOT BE IN SUNLIGHT. The fact that some new author thinks that we should disregard hundreds of years of mythology is absolutely dillusional and ridiculous. The movie was quite like the book. Blah and Blah... I think Twilight and all the idiotic pre-teens that follow this series should be thrown out with the trash. The love story is decent but the rest is a crock.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
