It has been awhile since I've read a book that just hooked me like those did.
I thought the movie was excellent! The characters were almost exactly as I had pictured them while reading. The actors and actresses did a wonderful job playing out the emotions the readers felt during the story,.. especially Bella and Edward.
Surprisingly, there were very funny parts in the movie. Some of the chemistry between characters I think could only be understood by someone who has read the book. For instance, my fiance couldn't understand why the audience was laughing at some parts, but us readers knew exactly what was going on.
