Best Action Movie of then Year!

One of the most visually creative movies i've ever seen. Excellent plot, good acting and Megan Fox isn't too bad to look at either...lol Seriously though without telling the movie, the bar has been raised and there's a new standard for Sci-fi action thrillers. This one blows the first one away and that says a lot, seeing how the first Transformers was pretty good. There's a little something for everyone in this movie...funny moments, romance, drama and some of the best action scenes ever created!!! Needless to say i'll be seeing it again! Oh yea also the midnight showings were sold out at the lux level theater we went to last night and it was showing on 4 screens. NUFF SAID!!!!

A Waste of Time.....

I was disappointed but not totally surprised that this bombed. The first Saw was a hit because it was something new and fresh. Saw II was horrible. Saw III made a comeback and was actually pretty good. And guess what Saw IV kept true to form...HORRIBLE! So looking at the pattern Saw V should be a hit...lol We'll see.....
No, I do not recommend this movie.

If you're looking for your regular meat and potatoes shoot em up movie this movie isn't for you. If you're looking for top notch acting , creative dialog and illustrative genius.....STOP!
The Coen Brothers have a style all of their own which usually requires some depth and substance to appreciate and fully understand. Otherwise everything will fly over your head. Tommy Lee, Josh and Javier give great performances. Was a bit disappointed with the ending. But knowing The Coen Brothers style i'm not surprised by it. A MUST SEE!!!!

Great movie with some serious twist and turns. Top notch acting from Viggo Mortensen and Naomi Watts. I wasn't big on Viggo in "History of Violence". But I have to give him his props in this movie. He definitely should get a couple of Oscar nominations for best actor. Also you'll need a strong stomach for this movie. You are warned...lol

EXCELLENT acting performances from Casey Affleck and Ed Harris. "Gone Baby Gone" has a "Mystic River" feel, not as good but close. A must see!!!!

Cmon now Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe...NUFF SAID! See this movie!!! Even had me wanting to be a gangster for a brief minute...lol

Surprisingly Good....

When I saw the promos for this I said another "THE FOG" remake, boy was I wrong. The acting was above average. The plot was rather simple but the ending makes up for it. You definitely don't see it coming.

Worth seeing but catch the matinee....

Will's acting was above average but the movie was rather blah. Anytime I can assess what a movie is about from the previews that's not a good thing. The CGI was lame and the movie was rather short and very predictable. It easily could have been 30 minutes longer. You would swear they were operating on a tight budget...lol
I'm a fan of Will's but I expect better from his movies. After a great movie like The Pursuit of Happyness, this was a bit of a let down. .
