If I hadn't read the books, I wouldnt have a clue what was going on in the movie. It did not flow well and left much of the emotion and pertinent details out. Some details seemed filmed as an afterthought. Too much hype and not enough budget. You saw all the action in the previews. Character development was lacking. The movie touched on the major events of the book, but didnt fill in the blanks. The acting was not believable and needed more dialogue. There was untimely, inconsistent narrative by the main character. The scenery IS beautiful and well captured, but Edward's movements are choppy and cheesy. He confesses his love from a tree and the theater was laughing. As for sequals, The director needs to step it up a notch.
