I'm a 42 year old mother of two who is obsessed with the Twilight saga. I've been waiting on pins and needles for this movie, and it lived up to every expectation. I would imagine that people who have not read the books did not get any of the subtle undertones of the movie, but they weren't completely lost either. Edward was portrayed beautifully and left me yearning for more. Even James was HOT. I can't WAIT to see the next installment!!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
