I read the book several times and saw the movie twice. Sure there are some missing things in the movie compared to the book... but aren't all movies that were originally books... anyhow, the actors choosen were great! Very breathtaking.... very! I took both my teenagers to see it and my husband too. My husband liked the movie even though he hasn't read the book. He was glad to see it wasn't too lovey dovey (his words). I will see it a few more times and most definately buy it when it comes out on DVD... GO SEE IT!!! Even if you have or have not read the book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
