When I watched the movie, I was a little disappointed. I felt that the overall emphasis was on Edward's thirst and putting a distance between them- not on the fact that he loves her so much that he denies his nature. That is what makes the book so addictive. The reader knows that- no matter what they go through- Edward and Bella's love is unshakable. I did not get that feeling from Twilight. However, the casting was spot on!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
