Honestly, I think they did the very best job with what they had to work with. There is no doubt that a bigger budget would have made for a better film. The chemistry between Edward and Bella left me a little disappointed. It never seemed joyful for either of them. I understand that they're tortured, but the book had many more instances where they seemed happy and enchanted. I had pictured Bella with a little less of an edge. Robert Pattinson was lovely as expected. He stole every scene. I am hoping that another opportunity to work together and a bigger budget will make this series soar. The cast of Cullens, Jacob and Charlie were spot on. Jessica was hilarious too. Great casting. Great soundtrack.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
