I thought Twilight was great! I've read the series and I think that they did as well as they could staying true to the book without making it a 3 hour movie. If you haven't read the book, there are parts of the movie that won't mean as much to you but it's still a fun movie to watch. Edward and Bella were perfectly cast. Pattinson's expressive face and manner conveys the feeling of the book better than extra dialogue could. The chemistry between them works on film as well as it does in the book. All in all it's a nice bit of escapism and if you're a fan of the series, you'll be anxious for a sequel!
