i obviously loved the books, who didn't...as for the movie i thought it was ok. with the budget as it was, i didn't expect to be "wowed", but i did enjoy it. i think that helped me going in. if i thought the special effects were going to blow me away, i would have been disappointed.i thought that it was mostly true to the book and enjoyed seeing the characters on screen.it was good enough to see again. if i were to go again, it would be when school was in session so i could actually hear it and enjoy it more.some teenagers were really rude. it will be on my dvd xmas list next year for sure :)
