I think the movie protrayed the story on a basic level so that all audiences could understand. From reading the books, yes i was a little disappointed to see important things/scenes from the book not being presented the same way in the movie. The Cullens house is white in the book, adding new scenes to the movie that weren't in the book was pointless and Bella and Edward's first kiss was not in her bedroom! Also i think the movie could have done a better job of showing the intense passion and true love that Bella and Edward felt for each other. I'm not saying the movie was bad, it just would've been nice to experience the same feelings during the movie as i did while reading the book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
