I took 10 teenagers and a 25 year old to this movie. Some of us had read the books and were die hard fans. Some were just going for fun. We all enjoyed the movie. I am one of the die hard fans and was very pleased with how closely they stayed to the book story line. I really didn't think they could pull it off, given the intense emotion in the book, but they managed to capture it. I am still amazed at how well these actors did that. I will definitely see it again!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
