I didn't either. I took my daughter and her friend to the movie with no expectation that it would be anything I'd want to see. I thought it might be a nice two hour nap. The movie grabbed me up and didn't let go. I don't know how well it stuck to the book's story but I'm now reading the book to find out. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone and I have!
