I loved the books and dragged my husband to see the movie. He enjoyed it, but I felt it was lacking. From all the hype, I was expecting more (not sure what). Bella's character was a bit flat, she seemed to have more life in the books. There were some scenes that worked in the books that seemed a bit cheesy on screen. Overall, it was a decent movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
