Almost a decade ago, we lost a close family member to cancer. In some ways, this portrayal was a tonic. about the experience. Diaz convincingly plays the mom whose ruthless determination has sustained her daughter's life for ten years of struggles against leukemia.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
