If you read the book, you'll be able to sit back & enjoy the movie for what it is - a cliff notes version of the book. It might seem pretty choppy to someone who is just seeing the movie. The acting is a little blah, but I still enjoyed it because I loved the book series so much. Edward and Bella were perfect, as were Victoria, James, Laurent, Rosalie and Alice. No shortage of eye candy in this film, even as a 40 year old MOM I found the cast "yummy" - my daughter's expression. Even though many reviews haven't been too kind, I think the readers who love the books will just really enjoy seeing the story come to life on the big screen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
