I went to see this last night at a mid-night showing and it was amazing. Everyone did their part so well, and there were some surprises as well. Charlie was amazing, so much different from the book, but also so much better than the book. Jacob (who I'm not a huge fan of anyway) was amazing as well, perfect tone and a lot of fun. The biggest surprise was how much comedy there was in the movie, it had me laughing out loud more than a few times. Rob and Kristen of course had great, great chemistry. Rob does brood a lot but it fits Edward so well you don't mind it. The only negative I might have to say is that there is not nearly enough of the Cullens, but when they are there, they are great together!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
