Faithful to the Book

I have seen Twilight twice, and after the second viewing I have decided that I am happy with the adaptation. A movie can never be exactly like the book, but this movie is very faithful to the book and can stand as its own work. I did not enjoy the first viewing as much as the second because I spent the first viewing comparing/contrasting the book and movie. During the second viewing, I was able to sit back and enjoy the movie on it's own merits. Are there flaws? Of course. Some of the facial expressions are unintentionally hilarious, and there is a major problem with the ending, but overall, I enjoyed the movie and will probably go see it again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
