Robin Hood offered not only incredible acting (which was to be expected with Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett on board), but an amazing sense of place as well. Never before has the setting felt so real, making the fact that it strayed from the classic Robin Hood story refreshing and welcome.
I LOVED this movie, that being said i don't think its a movie made for children. But as a college student who went with a group of college students i thought it was amazing. Our row was laughing the whole time. But I guess it takes a certain type of person to enjoy the movie, and you cant spend the whole time trying to figure it out. But if you just accept the movie as it is, weirdness, abstractness, and all I think the movie is totally worth it.
