Great book - soso movie

I loved all the character choices EXCEPT Bella & Edward. Sorry - just didn't like them much. Edward was played wayyyyy too soft emotionally. He always seemed like he was on the edge of tears. The silent moments between Bella & Edward (of which there were a ton) should have felt sexually/emotionally tense. Not so much - AWKWARD was about it. Oh, and Charlie came across as cold rather than just clueless about teenage girls. Other than that - I enjoyed all the other folks - James was major icky... Laurent... awesome choice. Alice - so on...I just wish there had been better acting for the 2 major characters. They looked the part, just didn't act it...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
