I have not read the book. My 12 year old daughter wanted to see so we went to the matinee Saturday.It started slow but then picked up about 20 minutes in. I thought the story line was ok..My daughter thought the lead actor was cute. I did not think so but what does a 51 year old know.I enjoyed the movie was not scared and there was several chuckle places in the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
