I loved the Twilight series and the movie did follow the book. I just wish they would have had a different cast. I understand what Edward was trying to portray in the beginning when he was "holding back" from Bella but it came across as bad, overdone acting. He should have taken a few classes from Angel to know how to really make that come across. Honestly the best actor was James, not to mention the cutiest! It does come down to personal preference, but I think someone who is a much better actor, not to mention better looking, should have been cast as Edward but I'm sure that viewpoint was not shared by the screaming 16 year old girls that shared the theater last night:)
Yes, I recommend this movie.
