Although this movie takes place in the 70's it is remarkably current. The style captures the time and feel of the 70's and the direction is stylized and pointed. The performances are remarkably fantastic! Sean Penn will most definately receive another Oscar nomination. James Franco, Emile Hirsch, Josh Brolin and Diego Luna also all give fantastic performances as well as the entire cast.
